Hi all,

I just put up a new FreeSCI version. You can download it at http://www.retrovg.com/gp32/. These are the most important changes:

Sound support.
Faster saving.
Configuration file can now be in DOS/Windows text format.

Unfortunately this version will not restore save games from previous releases. Sorry about that.

I'd like to thank Hooka for testing FreeSCI and for giving me the motivation to continue development.

Information

Hi everyone,

here's the initial alpha release of the FreeSCI port to GP32.

For more information about FreeSCI, see http://www.freesci.org.

Put the binary in \GPMM. Create a file called 'config' that looks like this (with the directories referring to where you have the games ofcourse):

QUOTE
[lsl2]
resource_dir=dev0:\gpmm\lsl2
[lb1]
resource_dir=dev0:\gpmm\lb1
etc. Create a \GPMM\FREESCI directory and put this file in it.

There's no sound yet. There's also no support for the chatboard yet (don't have one myself).

This is just an alpha release, so don't expect too much from it. It hasn't been tested much and is probably buggy. Feedback is appreciated!

Regards,

Walter
