drk||Raziel has posted some very interesting news for fans of his Dreamcast Emulator and also those interested in getting a Pandora Console and owners of PS3 and Nintendo Wii
After the code is cleaned up/rewriten there are plans to port to pandora and possibly other consoles (wii seems like a nice target, ps3 if theres a way to get 3D access). ALL THIS MAY(OR MAY NOT) COME AFTER THE CODE IS REWRITEN, SO DONT ASK ABOUT IT NOW(you’l just waste your time, realy). The code will be open sourced as soon as it gets stable.
Videos of Null DC here
Remember the Dreamcast has a ton of homebrew that me accessible through this emulator.

Id's next mobile game is Doom II RPG, the developer announced at QuakeCon tonight.
After showing off Wolfenstein RPG ("We've put the action-packed fun of kicking Nazi butt onto cell-phone") for mobile phone for a few minutes, Id Mobile's Katherine Anna Kang announced the game.
Nothing was shown apart from a grinning Doomguy.

Notaz posted videos of Picodrive runing on the Pandora, gp2x and psp with speed limit off
Also note that in these videos, both PSP and GP2X are clocked to their max, and Pandora board is running below it's planned nominal clock.
Notaz also added this about 32x emulation support for pandora:
I do plan to add support for it, but that will probably happen some time after Pandora's release.
Will the Pandora challenge the PSP/GP2X for the Handheld Homebrew Crown ? , for more Pandora news check out Pandora Homebrew: http://pandora.dcemu.co.uk/

A ROM update from Hong Kong for the HTC Touch Diamond released yesterday adds some fantastic functionality such as the use of the 850MHz GSM band (used by AT&T here in the US) and the improved TouchFLO 3D performance. (For the record, the performance update is great.) There are also a few bug fixes like the "no signal issue" and home page loading. Grab it at the links from XDA Devs, here.

Here's a quick look at Squidge's PandaSNES (working title). I've been working on the display code for a couple of days (Squidge's dev board has the wrong type of screen on it) and last night I finally got it running properly.
Please excuse my old camera. I promise it's really smooth and the colours are really vibrant in real life. Hopefully you can at least get an impression of what it's like, though. smile.gif
(edit) Oh, it's running with frameskip disabled.

CraigIX has released a new video of the Pandora Devkit in action with the Game Ghouls and Ghosts running on it, at the end it reads a FPS rate of over 100 fps, its certainly looking more and more that the Pandora will be the most awesome handheld released especially for homebrew fans.

Not that we'd view the actual Touch Diamond as IF or anything, but the Diamond J6 is more along the lines of I3. In all seriousness, this thing isn't too far from being spot-on identical (maybe it's an HTC thing?), with a 2.8-inch display, built-in camera, multimedia player, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. And for $160, we're almost inclined to fall in love here... almost.

We've seen multi-platform console mods before, but none quite like this whimsical creation by one "Bacteria," which effectively turns each console into a cartridge that can be swapped out at will. That was apparently done to make the system portable although, as is often the case, "portable" can be a matter of opinion. It also falls a bit short on the "multi-platform" part of the equation, as Bacteria has so far only managed to turn an N64 into a cartridge, but he promises to create carts for plenty of other systems in the next few months, including the SNES, GameCube, PlayStation and, yes, even the Jaguar. Be sure to hit up the read link below for a video of the system in action, as well as a detailed account of the building process.

Company Inlogic software, s.r.o. comes to the market with a new action game. Death Zone is a title of a reality show where the main goal is to kill as many zombies as possible. The player is exposed to a big pressure from enemy's side, so if he wants to win he will have to shoot it out on his way towards the victory. For this purposue there will be a number of weapons at his disposal that he can use.
“We have decided for the game Death Zone because we wanted to expand our current portfolio of Action games." says Ján Kalafut, Head of Business of the company Inlogic Software s.r.o. and adds: “The game has a few settings in which there are several obstacles waiting for the player. It certainly has a great potential to become the most favourite fun in many mobile phones.”
Do you feel like killing? Then join a new reality show Death Zone! At the beginning we will provide for you some fire power and later it will be up to you what arsenal you will use. Of course, you can even expand it but it won't be for free! There is a plenty of zombies for everybody but be careful with the unique bosses of 4 settings. You will have to shoot them down. In each setting there are 10 waves and enemies will make them “more pleasant”. Become an action star in the most fierce TV show of all times and don't froget to achieve the highest score possible.

The guys over at Phone Mag managed to get their hands on the HTC Touch Pro "Raphael" and its sweet slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Unfortunately, there was no battery and the device could not be turned on—but no significant changes are expected on that front over the previous Touch handset. All in all, Phone Mag felt that the device would satisfy HTC owners and keyboard lovers alike.

OK, well due to talking myself in to a corner over on the forum I've got to make an update on here today and thus the prophecy is true.
So what's been going on? Well more dev units have shipped now, we have decided on how to solve the analogue nub issue too.
The f5 crew might have noticed that we have changed the retail preorder date from June/July to August, this is to allow us to deal with the recent changes to the hardware and make sure everything is going to live in harmony together.
We will send you all an email via the newsletter list before preordering to allow you to fake your own death and claim the life insurance. I won't be doing that though. I don't have life insurance. I really don't see the point. Unless I was going to fake my own death. Then I'd get some.
Did they ever pay out on Lord Lucans policy I wonder? I always found John Stonehouse to be a much more entertaining case of a faked death, I mean what are the chances of faking your own death then being arrested on suspicion of being someone else who faked their own death? Hang on, on the entertaining side I forgot about John Darwin... Anyway, back to the point...
Yes, so, some advance warning with a date will be given.
Oh, and after many a request here is a photo of the wifi & bluetooth chips:

On another note we are planing to set up a Developer Fund for Pandora software development.
When ordering your Pandora you will be given the option to donate $20/£10 to the Pandora development fund.
This will give you access to a (voluntary) beta testing zone (where you can try software early) and the money donated will be used to reward Pandora software developers for their work.
Developers of course don't have to use this system, but I think it is a good way of rewarding them all, no matter how they release their software it will qualify to be rewarded from the fund. The Pandora team will throw in several thousand dollars to start it off.
Exophase summed up this idea in a nice way on the forum:
"The way I'm seeing this (and craigix please correct me if I'm wrong), this isn't meant to just provide a way to reward developers of software that you like. Instead it's supposed to strengthen the software library on the Pandora as a whole, acting as a motivator for good software in general. Which is why it's being offered with the purchases of the Pandoras themselves."
Well, back to work for us, we should be posting more videos in July.

Craigix one of the developers of the Pandora Console which is a new powerful handheld much like a DS in style but with mini keyboard, wifi, bluetooth, dual analogue controls and will be the most powerful handheld on the market on its release in July has today announced a developer fund which is the first of its kind for any system:
When ordering your Pandora you will be given the option to donate $20/£10 to the Pandora development fund.
This will give you access to a beta testing zone (where you can try software early) and the money donated will be used to reward Pandora software developers for their work.
Developers of course don't have to use this system, but I think it is a good way of rewarding them all. The Pandora team will throw in several thousand dollars to start it off.
Discuss...
Nice to see that Developers will get a reward for the hardwork they do and with every console sold you the buying public are supporting the very people who bring the goods to the world.
Thoughts on this

Craig posted this at GBAx:
The GP2X and Blackfin based devices are getting harder and harder to obtain now, lucky for us the Pandora is almost ready to ship.
It will be the most powerful handheld in the world when launched, and we will be the UK distributor. It will be under £200.
Good news for all of us Pandora Fans
