Newly released for Pandora
"Spout" is a small, abstract shooting game from Japanese developer kuni. It plays somewhat like Finnish cavefliers, except you have to erode your surroundings with your ship's exhuast. It's great fun :-)
This port is thanks to the hard work of noskill and MichaelA for the GP2X port.

Newly released for Pandora
Liferea (Linux Feed Reader) is an aggregator for online news feeds. There are many other news readers available, but these others are not available for Linux or require many extra libraries to be installed. Liferea tries to fill this gap by creating a fast, easy to use, easy to install news aggregator for Gtk/Gnome.

Considering how hackable the Nexus One is already, we can only imagine a whole new host of interesting things thanks to Ubuntu running on the device. [Max Lee] set his heart out on getting not just Ubuntu on the Nexus One, but also Debian, and he wrote a perfect install guide to help out those wanting to give it a shot.
He cheated a little bit by having Ubuntu run in the background while the X11 interface is simply VNCed, but he still did an awesome job with plenty of pictures and details to help you achieve Ubuntu on your Nexus One.

Hi,
from now on, you can get ready-to-flash firmware images on the official Support page.
The current image includes all Hotfixes so far, so there is no need to install them after you reflashed the firmware.
Be sure you only reflash when really needed. Flashing is no swiss army knife. It does wear out your NAND if done often.
Before you flash, make absolutely sure there is no other solution (check the I need Help-Section on these boards).
I you ever need to reflash the firmware: It's not a hard thing to do. Just be sure to follow the instructions carefully.
1. Extract the contents of this zip to root (main) directory (folder) of your FAT32-formatted SD card.
2. Make sure the pandora is turned off (remove the battery in case it crashes or doesn't turn off by using normal means).
3. Insert that SD card into pandora's first slot (it's the one closer to headphone jack).
4. Press and hold the right trigger ('R'), then turn the power on (if you have battery removed, insert it while holding R).
5. A menu should appear on screen. Select "boot from SD1" using the d-pad by pressing B or X.
6. Wait for flash process to finish. Connect the charger to be sure the battery doesn't run out while flashing. Press enter when asked to do so.
7. The device should turn off, press power (without holding R) to turn it back on.
8. It should then start it's first boot process which might take up to 15 minutes, be sure to wait for it to finish, otherwise firmware corruption might happen.

Newly released for Pandora:
A engine for Jazz Jackrabbit 1 and 2
I'm pleased to announce that I've just added support for Jazz Jackrabbit 2™ level files. Select "specific level" from the episode list, and you can now type in the name of any level you want. Support is very limited at the moment, but there's more to come. As you make your way from the launch of the program to the end of a level, you'll notice a bunch of other new features: •The first change you'll see is Jazz blinking during the introductory cutscene, thanks to AnotherGuest. Other cutscenes have also improved. •Next, you'll see that the main menu now has a plasma-y background effect, thanks to Alireza Nejati. •When you load up a level, you'll be greeted by a planetary approach sequence. •In-game, you'll find that animations are now positioned more accurately. Bad guys now explode properly, too. Thanks to Newspaz for both of these.

Newly released for Pandora
The beta testing phase of HotFix 3 is over - now here is the package for everyone!
You don't need to have any previous Hotfix installed. The Hotfix will find out what needs to be done on your system.
This Hotfix has the following changes and fixes:
* Kernel: Fixed problem with broken sound on some units. Also improved ALSA Buffer Underrun problems
* Kernel Modules: Added USB Sound and Midi Modules as well as the TUN/TAN-Module
* U-Boot: Fixed LCD timings on Reset (which caused weird dots around the Logo on reboot / Reset)
* U-Boot: Added serial out via USB (ideal for debugging when trying to port new OSes to the Pandora)
* MiniMenu: Added automatic Refresh on SD Card insert and quick navigation using keyboard letters
* Battery-Settings: LED now starts blinking at 10% and shuts down at 5%. The previous values were too short.
* Bugfix: op_fbrunapp had some problems with command line parameters. That's now fixed.
* Services: Removed unneeded services from Startup - also services most users don't need (like dropbear, samba, etc.) They can be re-enabled with the new Startup-Settings
* Startup-Settings: Added enabling / disabling services
* New: Added Mass Storage mode via Mini-USB (can be enabled in the System-Menu)
* Automount: Now using Label names (if the card has one) instead of mmcblk*
* Automount: Now using Dirsync instead of sync with 2s Buffer flush. This increases SD Write speed A LOT. However, be sure to wait at least 2 seconds before removing your SD Card after you saved data
* Not yet fixed: PNDs will not run if they have a space in the filename or path (do not use spaces in your SD-Card labels for now!)
* pnd_run-Script: Changed a few things to make it compatible with spaces in filenames (still needs some other fix). Thanks to Ivanovic.
* Bluetooth-Script: Fixed save / restore settings on startup (thanks to urjaman)

Just weeks after it made its debut in North America, Microsoft has announced that it has pulled the plug on its social-media orientated Kin mobile handset, meaning the European launch planned for later this year will not now happen.
All staff previously assigned to Kin development will not be shifted onto Windows Phone 7 duties, according to CNET.
“We have made the decision to focus exclusively on Windows Phone 7 and we will not ship Kin in Europe this fall as planned,” a statement confirmed.
“Additionally, we are integrating our Kin team with the Windows Phone 7 team, incorporating valuable ideas and technologies from Kin into future Windows Phone releases. We will continue to work with Verizon in the US to sell current Kin phones.”
As a result, question marks now hang over the proposed software updates scheduled for the platform this summer. Handsets can now be grabbed for as little as half price from US carrier Verizon. Total sales of the handsets are though to number “significantly below” 10,000.
Big European question marks also hang over Microsoft’s MP3 device Zune, which continues to struggle to find traction in the US market.

Newly released for Pandora
